My Philosophy

I created IMA Therapy Center with the goal of providing high quality and effective client-centered psychotherapy services for a variety of mental health related issues.  Your mental health is my priority. I approach therapy with the understanding that each person is unique, with their own story and specific needs. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that with the right support and guidance, everyone has the capacity to make positive changes, find clarity in their experiences, and enhance their overall quality of life.

IMA Therapy Center is Unique in that it provides both in-person and virtual/telemedicine psychotherapy sessions.  Although the practice solely engages in providing psychotherapy services, it is housed in a collaborative location among other mental health.  This means that clients can receive multiple forms of mental health related services in the same location.  The fact that I am not just a psychologist, but the proud mother of three young children (The IMA in the practice name is made up of their first initials 😊); one of whom has some developmental and mental health related needs is also a unique strength of this practice that can help to ensure that any client that is being treated here and their family will have an understanding, compassionate, knowledgeably, dedicated professional who will do all that she can to help make things better for them.

I am a dedicated, licensed clinical psychologist with diverse specializations and a passion for supporting my clients. With advanced education, significant training, and years of experience in various therapeutic modalities, I am equipped to address a wide range of mental health concerns, from ADHD, anxiety and depression to trauma, relational issues, and life transitions.


I integrate evidence-based practices with a personalized touch to offer you the most effective and individualized care possible. Whether through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Practices, or other approaches, I tailor your therapy to align with your personal goals and preferences. I am committed to working collaboratively with you to foster symptom improvement, resilience, self-awareness, emotional well-being, and overall better functioning.
